While we discuss “Monetize Your Thoughts”, it is very important to note down that this is not about a technique of taking money from your pocket and putting it into my pocket. Because my blog and I never believe it is a right thing to put my readers in a tight corner and catch them. Instead of that, I will be the happiest person if I can show you a point where you can make some bucks, and for that act of showing, you don’t have to spend any money. That means this article I write here is absolutely targeted upon my readers’ welfare and it is born from my aesthetic sense of writing. No sale is targeted here. I put all these words as a foreword to this article because of the only reason that money and monetizing are the most attractive terms upon which millions of people are searching only to find a vast majority of the stuffs are to live let me kill you sort of things, and it is highly misunderstood. To avoid such a misunderstanding, I think an open declaration through this foreword is necessary. I don’t want to keep anybody under the fog of suspicion. I just mean to pin point a platform for the need of monetization. Those who want can monetize it.
The next thing I have to say that this article is not anybody who seek nothing short of a couple of million dollars. It is not about billions and trillions. It is not about an unlimited current of money. Its for a simple ordinary man you meet anywhere who looks for some bucks to make a good living and who have some creative thoughts. Such people are the targeted ones, and I may take the freedom to ask them, “why don’t you think about monetizing your thoughts…?”
All you need is a little bit imagination. If you add some fancies and realist moods, that will be great. No need to say you must have some spare time. If you have all these ingredients, you are ready to take the go. You can start the button of monetization. You can monetize your thoughts.
How do you monetize it?
In their own words “getting something designed at 99designs is easy.” The website 99designs is a simple platform where runs a design contest. Thousands of designers compete there to create the best possible design to meet the needs of the customers. What I find most interesting is the very open and simple composition of the website. Pay Options
PayPal, AlertPay, Moneybookers and Western Union are the four options available to the designer to get the pay out.
The Type of Contests looks more attractive
(1) Guaranteed
Guaranteed contests are the safest bet for designers to enter. Here the contest holder guarantee a winner will be chosen and the prize money will be awarded. The prize money is prepaid to 99designs, who awards the same to the winning designer at the end of the contest. The Guaranteed contests cannot be withdrawn and are nonrefundable.
(2) Prepaid
This is the standard contest model, where contest holders pre-pay their prize money to 99designs. The winning designer get the prize money at the end of the contest. Here, contest holders have the option of withdrawing and refunding their prepaid contest if they don’t find a result they are happy with. This is the minute risk which differentiate Prepaid type from the Guaranteed type
The contest length is 7 days, after which the contest holder has a further 7 days to award a prize or withdraw the contest.
There also are other options like popular, fast track, extended, private and blind, for which you can have the details from Contesttypes.
Your Copyright
You own the copyright to your work until the contest holder has paid you for the design in full. A contest holder can’t legally use your artwork, or a derivative of it, without paying you the prize. If you suffer a copyright infringement, you can report it to 99designs as soon as possible.
You have the full right to withdraw from the contest whenever you like, unless you’ve been declared the contest winner and have been paid the prize.
Everything is very simple here. You can go monetizing it as and when you like. At no loss you can start the process of monetization. Or if you have a mission which is not yielding good, this can be monetize your mission also. Good luck.
